Eight teams signed up for a very competitive day of tennis.

For the first time in memory the season opening fun tournament was rained out. In this picture people are packing and leaving.

Paul Anderson again ordered up great weather and marshalled everyone to have a good time playing tennis. This fluffy visitor was ruled ineligible to play. The President and the master schedule for the day, and Len demonstrates good serving form.

In a few words—hot and humid. The top 4 teams played for over 3 1/2 hours with one short rest. With 10 teams there were 2 pools playing round robin.
