I’m happy to announce Kelley Johnson and Laurie Constitt as the winners of our ladies doubles tournament which took place under 27 degree sunny skies the afternoon of June 29th.
Laura Heneghan and Annetta Meimaroglou were formidable opponents who kept the would-be-winners on their toes with a final score of 5-4 played in an agreed upon 30-minute time limit.
A big thank you to the five teams who came out swinging in a lively spirit of competitive camaraderie.
Also a note of thanks goes out to Karin who graciously accepted the roles of timekeeper, picnic bench warmer and group photographer.
